In our continuous effort to control the effects posed by dengue, a mosquito-borne viral infection, we have conducted indoor residual spray to over 36 schools (elementary, secondary and tertiary) across the city and soaked 9,196 curtains and nets. As a result, we have 46% decrease in dengue cases in the 2 first quarters of 2020 compared to last year.

Setting discipline as leverage, the Digos City Police Station established Oplan Patagam as an intensification of the mandates set forth by Executive Order No. 31 "An Order Imposing Guidelines on General Community Quarantine in the City of Digos due to COVID-10". Violators like improper and failure of wearing of face mask and inobservance of social distancing are kept in custody of the City Police Office under baton of PLT COL Vici Anthony T. Tababa.
